As maybe the preeminent white savior film, what is it that makes Dangerous Minds so...dangerous? Is it the myriad of stereotypes? Is it that random Black grandma that doesn't want her grandchildren to read? Is it how the real life story was totally changed to make it more palatable for a white audience? But still, Gangsta's Paradise though...
