The Landlord
Back together again! Cameron was in Baltimore for the week, so this episode was actually done in person, which was much needed because we had a lot to say on this one.
1970's The Landlord might sound good on paper (Hal Ashby, Bill Gunn, Louis Gossett Jr., Beau Bridges) but it plays out like some of the worst mishmash of hippie dreams and racial politics. A nepo baby buys a building in Harlem and...well...
We discuss all the ways this went wrong as well upholding the sanctity of the third level of caucacity.
Youtube is being awful, but we're still trying to upload our live show so hopefully that will be everywhere soon! We also have some fun episodes and guests coming up in the next few weeks, starting with our next episode which covers 4 time Olympic gold medalist Kevin Durant's only foray into acting, Thunderstruck!
